I spent 4 days in Scotland, visiting Stewart and Lesley in Haddington and also visiting other friends in Edinburgh. Had great weather at St Abbs where me and Lesley went made photographing boats and creels!
I joined Bill and his Dad at Crewe and after his Mum's funeral we organised a trip to North Wales. We stayed near Portmeirion at a lovely B&B and spent a few hours at Portmeirion in the afternoon. The weather was just like Italy and the village looked gorgeous. The next day we saw a few castles such as Harlech and a steam train gala was taking place in Llgollen so we took a trip along the valley.
We also took a day trip to Liverpool and Port Sunlight.
The last part of our trip was spent in London. We saw 'Burnt by the Sun' at the National, had dinner overlooking the Thames, went to the V&A on their Friday late opening night and generally enjoyed catching up with friends
