Pool illusion

The start of the dust storm

Ahh, nothing like relaxing at a pool in the middle of the desert! Unfortunately it wasn't water but an illusion of carpet.  The theme was 'American Dream' for this years Burning Man and I suppose a pool in my back yard is a dream that's sort of come true.

This year it was very, very dusty. On Saturday, the day of the Burn, a storm started at 10am and didn't finish til 9pm.  They couldn't start the Burn until the wind died down so it was a mad rush to start it before the conditions changed.
