At Bent Creek Winery, Livermore

Alla & Peter's White Trash Party

 

 Just before Bill went back to the UK in October, a group of us went to visit some wineries in the Livermore area. It's a less known area to visit and is becoming more popular now that Napa has become a wine Disneyland. The car belonged to the winery owner - he must be making good wine!

Bill went to visit his Mum who had been in hospital. She's back at home now and doing well.  He also went to Edinburgh and London, as well as popping over to Nijmegan and Hamburg for business.

Meanwhile I was starting my new job in an Elementary School (Primary).  I'm helping an autistic 7 year old boy on a one-to-one basis within a normal classroom of 18 kids.  I also walk around and help the other kids with spelling, reading and maths. The kids are all very sweet. I'm working 5 days a week but only from 9 to 11.45, so I'm easing myself in slowly!

Our friends Alla and Peter became US citizens last month and had a Redneck/White Trash party to celebrate. Had a good time dressing up with my hair in rollers and Bill wearing a 'wife-beater' and tatoo sleeves!
