Bill at Sugar Bowl

March was a quiet month. We did get notice that we've now reached the final stage of the green card process called Adjustment to Status. This changes us from resident aliens to permanent aliens. We're still aliens until we're citizens! That would be another five years of waiting!  Still, we're hoping the process is finished by the summer so we can book holidays abroad!  I will be receiving my work permit in the next few weeks. After nearly 8 years in retirement, it's going to be a shock to my system!

Bill managed to have a day on the slopes with Anne before we leave for Park City, Utah in April.  We'll have a two bedroom condo that sleeps 8 so 2 friends are going to join us for a few days and keep Bill company skiing.  I'll take my snow shoes since there's an old railway track nearby that's been converted to a trail.  We'll explore Salt Lake City and the surrounding countryside in between skiing.
