Summer has arrived at last! However, all this rain has meant lots and lots of snow up at Tahoe. I went up the last weekend of April to collect our stuff from the cabin and have one last snowshoe.  Lilly came too and it's was hard to believe there was still so much snow while it was sunny and warm at 69F. By afternoon the snow was like walking through mashed potatoes so it was a harder workout.

We're off to Kauai in the Hawaii islands at the end of May. Bill has nearly got over his sciatica so the warm weather and rest will be good. Perhaps we won't attempt surfing but we're definitely looking forward to snorkelling. Kauai is a small island and although we had one day there when we stopped on our cruise, we didn't have time to hit the beaches. We'll spend 3 days in the north of the island near Hanalei Bay where the most beautiful and dramatic beaches are (the famous Bali Hai of "South Pacific"). Then 4 days in the south at Popui where the snorkelling is good.

I have uploaded some 5 minute videos on to Youtube.com. Search for dizzyp in Members to find the 5 videos. So far, Burning Man 04 and 05, and some nature ones of our Peruvian trip. More will follow when I have time!
