These photos were taken at a friend's birthday party last month - she asked that everyone wear either a bow-tie or a boa, so we did. We enjoyed some great weather in November - unusually sunny and warm. We went to the beach in San Francisco and drove along the Pacific Coast on a couple of weekends. A new museum (well re-built) has opened, the DeYoung in Golden Gate Park. Needless to say we couldn't actually get in because it's been so popular. The building design has attracted much comment - some hate it, some love it. We spent Thanksgiving at Sharon and Rich's, so we've already had our turkey. Christmas will be a nice leg of lamb and then on Boxing Day we drive down the coast to Santa Barbara for two nights. It's supposedly very pretty, having been rebuilt completely after a 1930's earthquake. Then it's on to Palm Springs in the desert for another two nights. For photos of November, click here. STOP PRESS: I passed both my Open University exams!
