Backcountry in Tahoe

Just when we thought there would be no more snow since the weather had turned decidedly summerly with temperatures in the 80's, we got more! We just had another dump and Bill is currently up again in Tahoe enjoying the powder. I'm entertaining myself with swimming and shopping with a girlfriend at home!

It was just beautiful a few weeks ago, lovely powder and blue skies. Me and Lilly went snow shoeing and climbed Castle Peak, a total trip of 5 miles.  The trees were bent into amazing shapes with the snow still clinging to them.

We're getting ready for our trip to Peru - yellow fever jabs, malaria and high altitude sickness tablets stocked up in preparation!
