Fall is most definitely here. Temperatures went from record high's in the 90's to lows of 55 in one week.  We've had a few rain showers but overall it's still pretty nice. 

We went on a week-end trip to Sacramento (the capital) and Nevada City and the weather was great.  Nevada City is just below the snowline on the way to Lake Tahoe and it gets the fall colours earlier than we do.

We've been trying out digital cameras to find the one we like best - the shops here have a very liberal returns policy - keep the camera for as long as a month and then take it back and say you don't like it, no questions asked!  We took the Palace of Fine Arts photo with a Canon A70.
