The Mad Professor at work ..

This newsletter is late since I've been attending a Photoshop course everyday at college.  Now it's finished I can put some of what I've learned into practice.  I don't have any college until October when I start my OU degree in earnest.  I passed my Writing Essays short course which has made me more confident about starting a degree.  Lots of work ahead but can't complain since I won't be working.
Now I've got time to start editing all those movies of holidays and visitors (I know you've been holding your breath!).
We've been going to the Stanford cinema every week to see such gems as The Birds, High Noon, Gone with the Wind and Forbidden Planet to name just a few.  They have an intermission organist who rises out of the orchestra pit.  They recently had a Bob Hope season for his 100th birthday which was opportune.
Bill is building a computer.  He's not content with 5 in the house already but feels he needs to build one from scratch - the spare bedroom is now a testing lab...  Meanwhile I'm quite happy with the laptop.
